Balingup lies on the South Western Highway, almost mid-way between Perth to the north and Albany to the south, a leisurely 3-3½ hours drive from either through some of the most picturesque countryside in Western Australia. 

With the new Bunbury Highway by-passing Mandurah, travel time from Perth can take around 2½ hours.  Excellent if you want to get away straight after work on Friday for an extra night’s stay.
